OUR PASTOR

Rev. Marvin L. Crawford, MD

Experience prior to FSP:  Graduate of Interdenominational Theological Center, Albany State College, & the University of Iowa College of Medicine.   Also attended programs at Medical College of Georgia and Harvard University.

The title "PREACHING PHYSICIAN" adequately  describes Rev. Crawford as he balances two major roles - pastor and physician.  In addition to that Rev. Crawford has added a third major role - professor.  Rev. Crawford is well respected & highly decorated with numerous awards, honors and accolades.  He is also noted for his ability to incorporate spirituality into patient care and is one of the nation's foremost experts in this area. 

Rev. Crawford specializes in Internal Medicine, research & instruction.  He is currently an attending physician with Morehouse Medical Associates as well as Clerkship Director, Internal Medicine & Ambulatory Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine.

Special interests at FSP:  Pastor has a passion for outreach ministries that not only assist those in need, but empower all people to reach greater heights.  Food banks, educational assistance, health care education, economic empowerment, youth development, substance abuse intervention, housing and crime prevention have been the central point of his ministry in all of his pastorates.

Family:  Married to Dr. Sherrell Vicks- Crawford, and they have two lovely children - Claire and Marvin, Jr.
